Position: iOS Software Developer at Pelmorex Corporation
Location: Remote, Canada
Overview:
Pelmorex Corporation, the home of The Weather Network, is seeking a talented and experienced iOS Software Developer to join our Apps team. Responsibilities:
• Create, enhance, and maintain features for our iOS applications
• Contribute to the introduction of new design patterns and technologies
• Write clean, high-quality code and ensure the app is defect-free
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver a best-in-class weather experience
• Work in East Standard Hours
Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science or College diploma in Computer Programming, Information Technologies, or related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years related job experience
• Solid Object Oriented Design and Analysis skills
• Experience with Test Driven Development and design patterns
• In-depth programming experience with Swift and Objective-C
• Knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, iOS Platform frameworks and APIs, and IDEs such as XCode and Git
• Experience with data retrieval and management, including remote sources and caching
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and analyze problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with mob and pair programming and automation testing
• Creative, innovative, and organized mindset
