Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Software Engineer to join our team. As a T-shaped engineer, you will bring a broad practical knowledge across various areas of software development, with a deeper specialization in backend. Responsibilities:
– Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, including the engineering manager, product manager, designer, tech lead, and other engineers.
– Utilize agile software development and a product mindset to plan, build, and support software that delivers value to customers.
– Partner with teams outside of product engineering and work closely with customers to understand their needs.
– Confidently work with major cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
– Embrace an ownership and operations mindset, taking responsibility for the entire development process and striving for system stability and observability.
– Promote engineering principles and contribute to improving our engineering culture.
– Be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.
Qualifications:
– Proficient in Python (or similar), TypeScript/JavaScript, and NoSQL Databases.
– Experience with event-driven architectures, AWS (Serverless), and/or GCP.
– Strong advocate for test automation and maintaining high-quality code.
– Skilled in working within teams with strong engineering practices, sharing knowledge, and fostering collective excellence.
– Committed to delivering customer-centric solutions and caring about the entire product lifecycle.
– Passionate about continuous improvement and using data and feedback to drive enhancements in processes and outcomes.
– Dedicated to self-improvement and staying current with the latest trends in software development.
– Experience building billing or payment platforms is a plus.
