Job Description:
As the Design Team Lead, your mission is to lead and manage the design chapter, including UX, UI, and UX writers, who work within autonomous product teams. You will play a crucial role in creating a scalable design system that ensures a consistent user experience and user journey across all features, products, and platforms. By understanding our users and their needs, you will drive the team to design solutions that improve meeting productivity in an intuitive and user-friendly way.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the design chapter within autonomous product teams
– Create a scalable design system for consistent user experience and user journeys
– Understand user needs and design solutions that improve meeting productivity
– Manage and develop the skills and careers of designers and researchers
– Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and motivate the team to achieve the company’s vision
– Maintain a strong understanding of the product strategy and contribute to OKRs
– Collaborate with other departments and team members to achieve company goals
– Organize regular team events and promote a value-driven work culture
Qualifications:
– Empathetic Product Design Lead with a track record of designing successful products
– Experience in B2B and SaaS is a plus
– Previous experience in managing and developing designers and researchers
– Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and transmit vision
– Familiarity with building design systems is preferred
– Fluent in German is a plus

– Successful launch of new solutions designed since joining Sherpany
– Improvement in UX metrics compared to past launches
– Establish yourself as a valuable member of the product team
