Position: Senior Product Designer at Flock Safety

About the Role:
As a Senior Product Designer at Flock Safety, you will have the opportunity to design new and innovative experiences that delight our customers and help eliminate crime. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional product design skills and technical knowledge to collaborate with our team of designers, engineers, and product managers to research, define, and iterate on solutions for web, mobile, and responsive design. In this role, you will have the chance to use your design skills to push the boundaries and contribute to creating a safer and more equitable society.
Responsibilities:
– Design new and innovative experiences that delight our customers and contribute to reducing crime
– Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to research, define, and iterate on solutions for web, mobile, and responsive design
– Focus on designing for the Real-Time experience and support design initiatives across the web platform
– Work closely with other designers, stakeholders, and customers to understand the problem, iterate on thoughtful solutions, and validate designs through user testing and prototyping
– Join the Law Enforcement Customer Experience Team at Flock and report to the Director of Product Design
– Work remotely with minimal travel required
Qualifications:
– 6+ years of cross-platform UX/UI design experience (Web, Android, iOS)
– Formal training in design or a related field (Graphic design, HCI, Interactive, Communications, Industrial design, Computer Science, etc.)
– Bonus if you have an Interactive background
– Expert knowledge in working with design systems, libraries, and style guides
– Outstanding visual design and UI skills, with a focus on pixel perfection
– Expert knowledge in prototyping and ideation tools, with mastery in Figma
– Extensive knowledge of design methodologies in user research and testing
– Ability to give and receive design feedback and collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners
– Clear written and verbal communication skills
– A high-quality portfolio showcasing web products and your design skills (Applications without portfolio samples will not be considered)

Compensation:
At Flock Safety, we believe in compensating our employees fairly for their work. The salary range for this position is $145,000-$170,000, and it may be modified in the future.
