Senior Graphic Designer at Kiddom
Kiddom, a revolutionary educational platform that promotes student equity and growth, is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. Our platform combines high-quality instructional materials with dynamic digital learning to empower schools and districts to take ownership of their curriculum. We are committed to providing personalized learning experiences that meet the unique needs and goals of local communities. As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the Content Design System for both print and digital curriculum products. You will work closely with the Marketing, Curriculum, and Design teams, and report directly to the Head of Design.
Key responsibilities:
– Design digital and print assets, including illustrations, interactive graphics, and learning materials.
– Collaborate with Curriculum and Design teams to align visual designs with educational goals.
– Develop and maintain brand identity across our library, ensuring consistency with Marketing and Platform.
– Create UI/UX design mockups, icons, and graphics optimized for online learning platforms.
– Incorporate feedback from educators and students to refine designs and enhance user engagement.
– Manage multiple projects and collaborate with managers and stakeholders to ensure timely completion and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
– Experience with K-12 education content or EdTech platforms.
– Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory for young audiences.
– Preferred skills: knowledge of web design, HTML, and CSS basics, and understanding of accessibility standards for educational content.
– Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
– Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– Creative problem-solving skills.
