Position Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in documenting functional requirements, technical specifications, and template documentation designs for our customers’ business needs. You will bring expertise in product knowledge and feature/functionality to provide guidance to customers on the best user experience for their business requirements. You will also be responsible for reviewing complex data files, mapping documents, and customer requirements to provide guidance on best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and alert them to any potential delays or issues
– Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and ensure all team members and stakeholders understand the impacts and obtain necessary sign-offs
– Act as the main point of contact for the Application Support Team and other internal teams for questions and concerns related to customer requirements
– Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on Billtrust products, capabilities, and new features
– Support and analyze feasibility of presales and sales opportunities
– Recommend and make improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Desktop Procedures (DTP) documentation
– Collaborate with teams to ensure a shared understanding of project scope
– Provide written and oral communication expertise in gathering and documenting requirements, creating functional design specifications, and interacting with business partners and technical resources
– Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
– Demonstrate outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
– Decompose high-level information into details and provide creative solutions to complex problems
– Think outside the box and bring new ideas and improvements to the team
– Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent education/experience
– Have at least 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst or related role
Compensation:
The expected base salary for this position is $80,000 – $110,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may also be eligible for additional incentives, such as equity, commissions, or performance-based bonuses.
