Overview:
RTS is seeking a talented and versatile graphic designer to join our team. As our first in-house designer, you will play a vital role in elevating our creative assets, digital media, and sales materials. This position is unique as it spans two key areas: product development for Evo (social media, digital content, print media) and partnership initiatives for RTS (proposal design, client assets). You will report to both Evo’s Creative Director and RTS’s Director of Partner Strategy, making a significant impact on the visual identity of Evo while creating compelling brand materials that drive growth for our organization. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced startup environment and can effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
– Design and develop consistent visual identity for all of Evo’s digital and physical touchpoints.
– Create engaging social media content, including custom thumbnails, posts, and story graphics.
– Develop website graphics, promotional materials, and marketing collateral.
– Design print materials such as event signage, merchandise, and promotional items.
– Create UI elements and graphics for digital products.
– Maintain and evolve brand style guidelines.
– Transform partnership proposals into visually compelling presentations.
– Design professional pitch decks and sales materials.
– Create branded assets for campaign deliverables.
– Develop custom graphics for client presentations and marketing initiatives.
– Design and maintain template systems for internal and external communications.
Core Functions:
– Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
– Collaborate with marketing, product, and partnership teams to understand design needs.
– Maintain organized files and asset libraries in shared storage systems.
– Provide design direction and feedback for external vendors when needed.
– Stay current with design trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
– Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
– Strong proficiency in presentation design using Google Slides and PowerPoint.
– Experience with digital design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
– Proven portfolio demonstrating versatility across digital and print media.
– Strong project management and organizational skills.
– Excellent typography, color theory, and layout design skills.
– Experience designing for both digital and print mediums.
– Video game industry experience is a plus.
