Overview:
NearSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making across our digital platform. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in tackling complex problems, gaining insights into customer behavior, and promoting product adoption. This is a remote position and we welcome applicants from all locations.
Responsibilities:
– Utilize your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and machine learning to tackle complex problems and gain insights into customer behavior.
– Develop models that influence product strategy and priorities, using advanced techniques such as Large Language Models (e.g., RAG, Generative AI) and NLP.
– Build and maintain machine learning pipelines that enhance data-based decision-making.
– Collaborate with senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure impactful, data-informed decisions.
– Lead and mentor team members, driving ML-powered features on our Digital Customer Platform.
Minimum Qualifications:
– MS/PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science).
– 5+ years of experience designing and deploying ML solutions.
– Proficiency in Large Language Models (e.g., RAG, Generative AI) and NLP.
– Strong skills in SQL/NoSQL, big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and programming (Python preferred).
– Experience with data science tools (Pandas, Jupyter, TensorFlow) and machine learning techniques.
– Cloud computing experience (AWS) and familiarity with MLOps.
