About the Role:

As part of our growing creative team, Lyra Health’s Brand Design team is seeking a talented Visual Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital and print experiences that support and promote the Lyra brand. You will work on a variety of creative projects, including digital PDFs, display ads, social media graphics, and layout design, to support demand generation, product marketing, corporate marketing, and Lyra member engagement.

As a Visual Designer for the Lyra Brand, you have a proven track record of excellence in concept, design, and execution. You value clear communication and meeting deadlines, and take pride in your creative work. You are a self-starter who is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to collaborate, introduce innovative ideas, and grow. Your expertise in visual design and knowledge of design standards are key, as is your ability to execute projects of all sizes with resourcefulness and dedication.

This role is part of a growing design team and will work closely with the Art Director, Lead Designers, and other stakeholders across marketing.

Responsibilities:

– Create exceptional design that is engaging, exciting, and effective.
– Work closely with the Marketing team to define, manage, and execute creative projects, deliverables, and timelines.
– Conceptualize and deliver designs for various digital media that align with and support Lyra’s brand and mission, using modern digital design techniques.
– Collaborate quickly and iteratively with the Marketing team to test, refine, and validate deliverables on time.
– Provide creative inspiration, problem-solving, and support for campaigns, websites, branding, and other company objectives.
– Ensure design concepts and execution remain consistent with our overall brand.
– Use data, user feedback, technical constraints, and feasibility to make informed design decisions.

Qualifications:

– 3+ years of experience in visual design, web design, or related field.
– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related field.
– Portfolio showcasing diverse design capabilities and a passion for unique and compelling approaches.
– Proven track record of solving business problems through impactful design.
– Knowledge of web-based interaction design principles.
– Expertise in traditional design principles, such as typography, color, and layout.
– Experience collaborating with creative, marketing, and web development teams to build effective websites.
– Familiarity with UX standard methodologies.
– Understanding of standard print design requirements.
– Ability to work with data and analytics teams to determine proper analytical processes and procedures, and independently derive conclusions.
– Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design software, as well as interactive prototyping tools.
– Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their application in the marketplace.
– Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
– A desire to understand not just “how” but also “why.”
– Experience working with UI design systems.
– A passion for creating appealing and user-friendly designs.

Bonus Points:

– Experience with vector illustration and icon design.
– Familiarity with designing CSS or SVG-based animations and micro-interactions.
– Knowledge of technical implementation (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and ability to communicate with developers.
