Location: Fully Remote (Europe/Asia)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our team and support the General Manager and CPO in making data-driven decisions for our social discovery app. This is a fully remote role with flexible hours and unlimited time off. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will analyze large and complex datasets, uncover actionable insights, and work closely with the product team to drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

– Analyze data to uncover actionable insights and inform product recommendations
– Leverage expertise in analytics, data science, and storytelling to understand user behavior and inform product strategy
– Detect and resolve data anomalies and ensure data integrity
– Collaborate with the product team to plan, run, and evaluate experiments
– Partner with engineering to implement and monitor data tracking
– Build self-serve tools and dashboards for streamlined analytics operations
– Support data engineering in creating data pipelines and automated reporting
– Define product goals and metrics and establish KPIs for evaluating success
– Promote data-driven decision-making and experimentation culture within the company

Requirements:

– Extensive experience as a product analyst, with a passion for analyzing large datasets
– Proficiency in SQL, Postgres, and statistical software like Python and R
– Familiarity with behavioral analytics and experimentation methods
– Ability to turn data into meaningful insights and present them effectively
– Understanding of both the user and commercial aspects of product success
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is preferred

Bonus Points:

– Experience with online dating, social discovery, or entertainment products
– Degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, or computer science
– Familiarity with BigQuery and data products/machine learning-driven products

Interview Process:

– Initial call with the people team (30 minutes)
– Technical interview with a Data Engineer (45 minutes)
– Hiring Manager interview focused on experimentation, product metrics, and leadership behaviors (1 hour)
– Interview with the CEO (45 minutes)
– Average process takes 3-4 weeks, but we accommodate availability
