Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Analytics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in further improving the analytics around our risk adjustment and appropriate medical coding workflows. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals living with SMI across the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, implement, and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable data pipelines to support analysis and BI reporting
– Collaborate with stakeholders to develop reporting and dashboards
– Identify patterns in data analysis and use them to improve processes
– Work closely with product and engineering teams to continuously enhance our analytics and reporting infrastructure
– Ensure timely delivery of solutions using modern best practices, such as DBT, continuous integration, linting, and testing
– Deliver clean, maintainable, and extensible code
– Communicate effectively with operators to understand their needs and exceed customer expectations
– Report to the Director of Data
Requirements:
– Strong experience with DBT, SQL (Snowflake ideally), Git, and Bash
– Team player mentality and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Previous experience working with medical claims data, risk adjustment experience is a plus
– Comfortable building dashboards and conducting in-depth data analysis
– 3+ years of experience with DBT, advanced SQL, and Git
– 1+ year of experience working with medical claims data
