Job Description:
The AI Data Leader will play a crucial role in shaping the AI and data strategy at 1848 Ventures. As a thought-leader in the AI space, you will lead the development and implementation of transformative AI capabilities and robust data strategies that are integral to the success of the ventures we create. Your insights and expertise will drive long-term value for our ventures while reducing risk and enhancing the profitability of the SMBs we empower.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a visionary AI and data strategy that aligns with the strategic vision and operational goals of 1848 Ventures.
– Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and trends to oversee the development and deployment of cutting-edge solutions.
– Collaborate with organizational leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and implement AI solutions that meet business needs.
– Build and nurture a high-performing team of AI experts and data professionals to continuously explore new possibilities and deliver advanced solutions.
– Drive data management and governance by establishing ethical AI practices, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
– Oversee the creation of cutting-edge AI models and guide their responsible implementation while addressing fairness and ethical considerations.
– Ensure compliance with regulations and proactively mitigate risks and biases to reinforce trust and reliability in our AI systems.
Qualifications:
– 10+ years of SaaS experience driving AI/ML and data science, including executive roles driving AI and data strategies at scale.
– Advanced degree preferred (Ph.D. or Master’s) in computer science, data science, or a related field.
– Proven track record of delivering innovative and impactful results.
– Skilled at managing and mentoring teams, both directly and indirectly.
– Hands-on expertise in designing AI prototypes and conducting experiments.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams and executive stakeholders.
– Passion for ethical AI practices, data integrity, and ensuring security and compliance.
– Up-to-date on emerging AI trends and thought leadership.
