Responsibilities:
As an Associate AI Scientist at Trace3, you will have the opportunity to experiment with cutting-edge approaches and develop proprietary models to tackle unique and complex challenges. With a consultative mindset, you will support the development and implementation of AI solutions that create measurable business value for our clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in data science, analytics, and business problem-solving.
Key job functions include:
– Assisting in the development and implementation of AI solutions using advanced machine learning techniques, prescriptive/optimization methods, simulations, and causal inference
– Supporting process improvement initiatives by preparing data and conducting initial analyses
– Helping develop and validate statistical models under senior guidance
– Collaborating with team members to transform business requirements into analytical approaches
– Participating in client workshops and translating technical findings into understandable insights
– Supporting the development of automated monitoring solutions for business processes
– Creating technical reports and presenting experiment results
– Assisting in the creation of project deliverables and executive read-outs
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
– 0-2 years of experience in data science or related analytical roles
– Basic proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
– Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts
– Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
– Strong appetite for continual learning and upskilling
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
– Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
– Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
– Coursework or internship experience in data analysis or machine learning
– Comfort with selecting and approaching basic machine learning challenges/projects
– Understanding of basic statistical methods (central tendency, probability, sampling, etc.)
– Experience in consulting roles and comfortable navigating open-ended complex problems
Salary and Benefits:
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
Estimated Pay Range: $100,000 – $125,000 USD
