Position: Senior Full Stack Engineer at MoonPay

Job Description:
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at MoonPay, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the technology that enables our company to learn and scale quickly. You will be a part of a small cross-functional team of 4-6 engineers, working closely with a Product Manager and Product Designer. We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Consumer group and focus on our Consumer products, including mobile, web, widget, and partner experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop new and existing products and features
• Collaborate with Product Managers to determine the best solutions and implementation plans
• Work with other product teams to improve customer-facing features
• Contribute to project estimations, planning, and execution
• Integrate and partner with external service providers for seamless operation
• Maintain and enhance our existing codebase
• Write fully tested, high-quality, and performant code
Requirements:
• Experience in Software Engineering at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies
• Proficient in developing, releasing, and maintaining consumer-facing applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Familiarity with our tech stack, including React.JS, Next.JS, and TypeScript, or the ability to cross-train and upskill quickly
• Knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices
• Experience working with applications deployed on public clouds such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure (we use GCP)
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will also:
• Mentor and coach other Engineers
• Advocate for writing high-quality code
• Contribute to the overall approach and standards within the Engineering discipline, including design, documentation, monitoring, and alerting
• Lead initiatives from an engineering perspective, collaborating closely with product managers.
