Position: Practice Manager – Data Science, AI, and ML
Company Overview:
We are seeking a Practice Manager who is a subject matter expert and a leader in the field of Data Science, AI, and ML. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team of professionals in delivering successful outcomes for our customers and ensuring the overall success of our practice. This includes overseeing Professional Services engagements, providing technical guidance and support, and driving growth and development within the practice.
Responsibilities:
– Lead a team of Data Science Architects, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers, providing mentorship and support for their development
– Act as a liaison between customers and engineering resources, understanding their requirements and driving the development of solutions
– Collaborate with business and technical colleagues throughout the project, ensuring all necessary questions are asked and nothing crucial is overlooked
– Educate customers on the value of Data Science and AI solutions and assist them in transitioning to the cloud
– Play an active role in delivering modern AI and ML solutions, such as generative AI and cognitive computing, using best practices and agile methodology
– Build relationships with customers to promote cloud and Data Science and AI adoption, and participate in deep discussions to ensure customer success on the AWS platform
– Conduct training sessions for customers and our team to stay up to date on AWS and related technologies
– Attend and present at industry events to share valuable information
– Collaborate on Go to Market strategies for Data Science and AI
– Travel up to 50% of the time
Requirements:
– 12+ years of experience in customer-facing software/technology, data analysis, or consulting
– At least 7 years of experience in architecting and building Data Science and AI solutions
– Minimum of 6 years of experience with AWS or other public cloud Data Science solutions
– In-depth understanding and professional experience with AWS Data Analytics and AI/ML services
– Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
– Understanding of agile methodologies
– Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Data Science
– Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP ML Specialist
Travel: As required for business needs
