Data Analyst, Performance Analytics – Qventus

In this role, you will utilize your expertise in SQL and data visualization to build and maintain impactful analytics products for both our clients and internal teams. You will work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to illuminate operational opportunities in our client hospitals and evaluate the performance of our company’s tools and algorithms. The success of this role will depend on your ability to balance speed with reliability and constantly seek solutions for the problems at hand.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct repeatable analyses to gain insights into the utilization and impact of our products on our healthcare customers’ goals
– Provide ad-hoc analyses to support our Delivery team and ensure client satisfaction
– Maintain and support our analytics products, including troubleshooting queries, implementing dashboard rollouts for new clients, and developing new analytic features
– Contribute to the health of our analytics platform through deployments and documentation
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in a data-centric role (analytics, science, engineering)
– Significant experience using SQL to answer business analytics questions
– Familiarity with modern data visualization tools, preferably Looker
– Strong ability to trace data anomalies from dashboards back to log events
– Constant curiosity and passion for solving real-world problems
– Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with US Healthcare data, specifically EHRs and/or claims
– Experience with dbt and data modeling
– Working knowledge of modern data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
– Comfort with Looker and LookML
– Advanced degree in statistics, economics, or other quantitative field
– Knowledge of Surgery Operations or Inpatient Flow through hospital settings
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000. Qventus’ salary bands are based on market data and consider factors such as location, skills and qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
