We are looking for a highly skilled Creative Director / Lead Designer to join our growing team at Nift. As we continue to expand our brand discovery platform, we need someone with exceptional creative vision and technical expertise to help us deliver delightful thank-you gifts from businesses to consumers. This role will report to our VP of Brand & UX and will play a crucial role in shaping the way our partners and Fortune 100 brands are presented to our audience of over 60 million users.

The Role:
As our Creative Director / Lead Designer, you will have a hands-on role and will be responsible for developing creative campaigns and assets that drive engagement and align with brand standards for top-tier Fortune 100 accounts. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure our creative efforts drive revenue growth and surprise and delight our audience with great gifts. What you will do:
– Develop and execute creative ad campaigns across various channels such as email, in-app, and web, that drive measurable engagement
– Adapt creative concepts to align with the brand standards of Fortune 100 consumer brands who use our platform to thank their customers with Nift gifts
– Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure creative efforts drive revenue growth and delight our audience with great gifts
– Collaborate with developers, writers, and other designers to deliver seamless and integrated campaigns across multiple channels
– Utilize email automation platforms and hand code responsive HTML/CSS to create and deliver email campaigns
– Design WordPress pages, including theme customization and content updates
– Proofread and QA all creative outputs to ensure they are error-free, visually polished, and aligned with technical requirements
– Utilize photography, animation, and video editing to enhance campaign assets
– Ensure all creative outputs meet the highest standards for quality, consistency, and functionality
What you need:
– 8-10 years of experience in a creative lead role
– Strong portfolio showcasing both conceptual design and technical execution
– Proficiency in consumer product and campaign design, with hands-on commercial experience
– Excellent communication skills and ability to pitch and sell creative concepts
– Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively, maintain an organized workflow, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
– Proactive and self-driven mindset with a strong sense of initiative and commitment to delivering on time and exceeding expectations
– Design degree and/or relevant work experience
– Experience creating and delivering responsive HTML emails using platforms like Klaviyo and Stripo, or hand-coding deliverables
– Proficiency in WordPress and advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS
– Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
– Comfortable working in Google Workspace
– Ability to adapt to diverse brand aesthetics and styles
– Photography, animation, and video editing skills are a plus
– Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
– Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
