Position Title: Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing lead scoring and recommendations models to optimize our Consumer Solutions business unit. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work independently, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive the adoption of data models. You will also play a crucial role in scoping, prioritizing, and executing data modeling projects to enhance our understanding of the consumer cross-sell process and guide the development of ML-friendly datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop lead scoring and recommendations models to increase the conversion rate of sales calls by the Consumer Solutions business unit
– Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and execute data modeling projects that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sales teams
– Establish best practices for measuring the performance of data models and communicate results to non-technical stakeholders
– Mentor team members on ML projects and assist in tool selection decisions
– Provide guidance to Analytics Engineers on data modeling needs for ML systems
Required Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, MIS, or related technical field (or equivalent work experience)
– 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role
– Proficiency in SQL or a similar language for data manipulation
– Hands-on experience with Python or a similar language for statistical programming
– Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining ML models using MLFlow and/or AWS Sagemaker, including recommender systems and lead scoring models
– Ability to evaluate ML models and effectively communicate results to non-technical stakeholders
– Proven ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to drive adoption of ML models
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills
