Responsibilities:
– Enhance the capabilities of our computer vision technology to extract information from construction-related images, such as blueprints and site photos
– Develop and deploy computer vision models for tasks like image classification, object detection, and segmentation
– Optimize pipelines for integrating vision models into existing workflows
– Create efficient labeling processes to acquire proprietary datasets for training algorithms
– Analyze various types of documents, including images, text, and tables
– Conduct experiments to evaluate and improve model performance and robustness
Requirements:
– MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in computer vision, with a focus on building production-ready systems
– Proficient in Python, ML, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, as well as computer vision libraries like OpenCV
– Strong background in image processing, feature extraction, and visual data analysis
– Familiarity with visual transformers and their applications in computer vision tasks
– Interest in the construction industry
– Bonus: Experience with multi-model LLMs or embedding models
– Bonus: Experience with processing construction-specific visual data, such as blueprints or site images
