Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist II to join our dynamic Data team. In this role, you will utilize AI/ML to personalize member and patient engagement, increasing the impact of our product. You will also be responsible for developing analytics to understand the usage and value of innovative communication channels, such as AI chatbots. As a Data Scientist, you will report to the Lead Data Scientist.

This position can be either remote or in-office, with an expectation of being in the office at least two days per week. Salary and Benefits:
The base pay for this role is $131,200 – $172,200 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for employee benefits, participation in our unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure alignment of processes and policies with departmental strategies and roadmaps
– Mentor junior data scientists and/or analysts
– Collaborate with data and business peers across business units
– Research, develop, and maintain data pipelines, statistical/ML models, and advanced analyses
– Deliver analytical and modeling solutions with minimal manager oversight
– Proactively collaborate with the data science team to drive projects forward
– Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
– Perform any other assigned duties
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in an industry or other quantitative technical field
– 2+ years of experience working with SQL, R, and/or Python to query, manipulate, and analyze data
– 2+ years of experience building data models and using advanced analytics methods, statistical modeling, and/or data processing
Bonus Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field
– Knowledge or previous work experience in healthcare or health insurance
Travel:
Up to 5% travel may be required for this position.

Pay Transparency:
Final offer amounts, within the base pay range listed above, will be determined based on relevant skills, education, and experience.
