We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work with our global client in the United States on a 100% remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join one of the top six technology companies in the world.
Project: SAP S/4Hana Global template rollout
As a Senior SAP EWM Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying SAP systems to meet our client’s business goals. You will work closely with our client’s logistics teams to lead analysis and design in the SAP EWM area for a large-scale, end-to-end global project.
Key Responsibilities:
– Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP systems in Warehouse Management, Material Management, and Logistics.
– Act as a liaison between business functions and technical teams.
– Understand the organization’s business requirements.
– Prepare a blueprint for implementing the project.
– Implement the project according to the blueprint.
– Validate report requirements and any changes in customizing.
– Provide end-user training and support.
– Conduct structured testing internally and with users.
– Ensure stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements.
– Perform data mapping and gap analysis.
– Collaborate with globally distributed teams.
Qualifications:
– At least 10 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
– Minimum of 7 years working on SAP EWM and WM projects.
– At least 5 years of experience with full-cycle implementation in large organizations.
– Experience with at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation, specifically the EWM solution in a regional or central distribution center.
– Configuration expertise in Inbound and Outbound process flows, Internal Warehouse processes, Inventory Counting, Cross Docking, QIE, and Production Integration.
– Knowledge of MFS integration with PLC for automated Warehouse elements, Transportation Management, and Dock Scheduling.
– Familiarity with CIF and integration of ERP systems (ECC or S/4HANA) with standalone EWM and embedded EWM in S/4HANA.
– Experience in creating Master Data, such as Packaging Specifications and Warehouse Organizational Structure.
– Strong knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM.
– Understanding of Labor Management, Yard Management, and Cross Docking in EWM.
– Ability to understand business processes from a client’s perspective.
– Strong team player with excellent communication and analytical skills.
– Results-oriented and able to work independently.
– Experience with test, cutover, and post go-live plans.
– Knowledge of Automotive or Manufacturing industries is a plus.
