Position: Senior Data Analyst at Mindoula
Location: 100% Remote (Must be located in the United States)
About the Company:
Mindoula is a healthcare organization dedicated to providing innovative and efficient services to its members and the community. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about visualizing and analyzing trends in healthcare claims and operational datasets.
Responsibilities:
– Create clear and actionable data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
– Develop and automate business intelligence tools to enhance self-service capabilities
– Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources while ensuring accuracy and integrity
– Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns that contribute to business and clinical objectives
– Validate and ensure data accuracy and consistency, identifying anomalies and inconsistencies in data sets
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements for adhoc queries and validation requests
– Maintain documentation for query and data validation processes to promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
– Experience in the healthcare industry is required
– Proficiency in AWS and AWS Athena
– Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
– Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SuperSet, or similar
– Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and analysis
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
– Experience with data validation techniques and best practices
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple adhoc requests simultaneously
