Position: Associate Software Engineer
Start Date: March 3, 2025
The Associate Software Engineer role is part of MCA Connect’s Development Center of Excellence (DCoE) program. During the first two months of training, you will acquire the skills and tools necessary to begin your career as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical Consultant, working on the latest intelligent cloud-based business applications. This is a full-time, salaried position.
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and testing of software applications during the project lifecycle. This role also includes providing technical documentation for solutions and collaborating with a team of developers, analysts, functional designers, project managers, and clients.
Responsibilities:
– Design and develop extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 application platforms
– Code, unit test, and create supporting documentation as needed
– Understand customer needs and collaborate with other consultants for design and testing
– Learn how to migrate customer data sources to Microsoft’s sources and ensure proper alignment of data models
– Provide support on Microsoft tools for migration and integration
– Implement reports according to requirement documents and standards
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
– 1-3 years of professional software development experience
– Familiarity with one or more of the following: JAVA, C#, .NET, SQL, XML
– Knowledge of standard development techniques (SDLC)
– Familiarity with Relational Databases and Object-Oriented Programming and Design
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
– Experience with Microsoft development tools
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude
– Ability to directly interface with end-user clients
