Position: Business Analyst
Location: Remote (DC area preferred but not required)

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for an existing contract with the Department of Defense. The BA will be responsible for gathering and managing customer requirements, overseeing the development team, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional support.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and prioritize support issues for applications specified in the contract
– Serve as the primary point of contact for the agency’s 9-step web application support and modification processes
– Ensure the development team is focused on resolving Tier 3 issues
– Communicate with customers and the development team to provide updates and progress reports on maintenance activities and meetings
– Work with customers to gather and document requirements for maintenance efforts
– Streamline requirements using Agile processes and coach team members on Agile/Scrum practices
– Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on applications specified in the contract
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
– Active Secret clearance
– Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio Management
– Familiarity with Agile project management or methodologies
– Knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira
– Strong attention to detail
– Experience with customer support
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
– Ability to facilitate requirements meetings and software demonstrations
– Experience with stakeholder engagement and facilitation
