Power Platform DeveloperJob Description:
Job Role: Power Platform Developer
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Remote work across Germany)
Language Requirement: German (Minimum B2 level certification or pursuing C1 proficiency)
Contract Length: Minimum 6 months with possibility of extension
Services Required:
1. Development & Technical Support: Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate. Create custom connectors and database designs to integrate external systems. Provide technical advice and support to citizen developers, including code review, troubleshooting, and complex issue resolution.
2. Consulting: Conduct feasibility analysis for potential Power Platform applications, considering technical constraints and best practices. Guide technical architecture for Power Platform solutions, ensuring compliance with governance standards. Advise on code review practices, security standards, and deployment processes.
3. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Develop training materials and conduct sessions (online and in-person) to enhance internal capabilities in using Power Platform tools. Promote best practices for building secure, scalable, and compliant applications among citizen developers.
4. Community & Collaboration Support: Facilitate collaboration between departments, developers, and external specialists. Provide technical assistance to internal teams and external contractors to foster a collaborative and supportive development environment.
5. Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of development processes, solutions, and technical standards. Use internal tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint to document project progress, issues, and solutions.

Service Provision: Remote work with occasional on-site work in Germany as needed.
Technical Requirements:
Experience:
– At least 3 years of practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
– Experience in designing and implementing databases, particularly those integrated with Power Platform tools
– Proven ability to develop custom connectors for integrating external systems into the Power Platform environment
– Practical experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
– Experience providing technical support and code reviews to citizen developers
– Hands-on experience with collaborative development methods like pair programming and fusion development
Skills:
– Power Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
– Database Design: Ability to design and implement databases, including setting up data gateways and connecting systems with custom connectors
– Feasibility Analysis: Strong skills in assessing the technical feasibility of applications and identifying potential issues during ideation
– Training & Knowledge Sharing: Ability to prepare and deliver training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing technical guidance
– Governance & Security: Knowledge of technical standards, governance, and security practices to ensure compliance and scalability of solutions
– Agile Development: Familiarity with agile tools like Jira for project management and working in Scrum or Kanban environments
– Documentation & Communication: Strong ability to document processes, solutions, and communicate effectively through tools like Confluence and SharePoint
