Position: Senior Analytics Engineer

About the Role:
As the Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our data platform. You will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and analysts to develop self-serve insight products, own the data product lifecycle, and ensure data quality and consistency. Your main responsibility will be designing and building our semantic layer to provide data consumers with access to consistently defined KPIs and metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop self-serve insight products
– Own the data product lifecycle, including tracking plans, data modeling, ELT pipelines, and self-serve insight products
– Ensure data quality and consistent metrics as the data steward
– Design and build our semantic layer for data consumption
– Utilize advanced SQL skills to model data for final consumption
Qualifications:
– A strong background in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics
– Solid experience with advanced SQL skills
– Knowledge of data modeling and experience with DBT and Python
– Familiarity with event tracking tools such as Segment, mParticle, or similar
– Experience with semantic layer tools, DBT, Cube Dev, or similar
– Familiarity with data integration tools like Stitch, dltHub, FiveTran, or similar
– Passion for our company’s mission, products, and technology
– A desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment
– Strong communication and collaboration skills

Hiring Process:
