Overview:
Gambling.com Group, a leading online sports betting and gambling company, is seeking a highly skilled Web Analyst to join our fast-growing team. Our Group operates a portfolio of websites, including Gambling.com, Bookies.com, and state-specific websites like NewYorkBets.com and BetArizona.com. As more and more U.S. states legalize sports betting, the North American market is expected to be the future of the global online gambling industry. With our recent acquisitions and media partnerships, we are positioned for significant growth in this market.
Responsibilities:
– Analyze and evaluate website performance from various traffic sources, with a focus on organic search but also including paid, email, and more.
– Utilize large data sets to identify audience targeting and customer journey alignment.
– Conduct in-depth analysis and identify key drivers of performance.
– Provide opportunities for improvement, including audience drivers and competitive research.
– Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker, and other data tools to build and track reporting dashboards.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
– Proactively recommend and implement data optimizations, such as launching tests and segmenting traffic.
– Collaborate with SEO, creative, web development, and product teams to develop testing plans and improvements.
– Ensure seamless deployment and QA of test launches.
– Interpret data needs and create detailed roadmaps with clear success goals and P&L impact.
– Conduct team-based training sessions on data toolsets, including Google Analytics, Looker, Google Search Console, and more.
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience as a data or web analyst.
– Understanding of the digital landscape and traffic acquisition sources, including direct, SEO, social, and email.
– Proficient in Google Analytics and other similar data platforms, as well as SEO tools like Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
– Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.
– Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and staying updated on digital trends and changes.
– Knowledge of conversion funnel and customer acquisition, including optimizing for growth.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
– Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
