Role Overview:
Midnite is looking for a talented Digital & Motion Designer to join our team. Whether you are an experienced Senior Designer or a Mid-weight Designer looking for your next challenge, we want you to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for creating captivating designs for all our creative channels, with a focus on digital platforms. We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable designing everything from landing pages and paid social ads to HTML banners for affiliate sites. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has a passion for creating engaging motion graphics and videos for platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube.
As a Digital & Motion Designer at Midnite, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse design projects and push the boundaries of traditional design. You will work closely with our Art Director to understand our brand and create design solutions to elevate our visual identity. From conceptualization to delivery, you will play a crucial role in the development of all our visual elements, including 3D design, typography, imagery, and layout, to communicate our brand effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create top-notch designs for brand identities, campaigns, and animation projects, with proficiency in both static and motion design.
– Collaborate with the creative and design teams to develop concepts and produce storyboards.
– Stay up-to-date with social media trends and incorporate them into your designs to enhance our digital performance.
– Work closely with Product and CRM teams to develop and execute engaging customer communication strategies.
– Confidently manage multiple projects with varying timelines and deliver high-quality work on time.
– Provide feedback and direction when working with external talents.
– Take ownership of your workload and manage your time effectively.
– Collaborate with the Art Director and support in running and leading projects when needed.
– Contribute to project scopes and estimates.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Mastery in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Cinema 4D (or equivalent).
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
– Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate ideas into visual narratives.
– Understanding of the role of digital and motion design in brand-building.
– Creativity and attention to detail in crafting visually stunning designs.
– Excellent time-management skills.
– Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
– Awareness of current trends in both motion and design.
– Familiarity with HTML ad builds and experience with services like Flashtalking is a plus.
– Ability to take constructive feedback and use it to improve.
– Strong understanding of brand systems, tone of voice, and guidelines.
– Interest in sports and gaming markets.
– Openness to explore how AI can enhance internal design projects.
