Job Title: Senior Analyst, Network Analytics at Oscar Health

Role Overview:
As a Senior Analyst, Network Analytics, you will be a vital part of our Data team, supporting our mission to enhance Oscar’s network operations. Your focus will be on advancing Total Cost of Care Management, through improving medical economics capabilities and utilizing cost-saving measures in our network performance.
Reporting Structure:
You will report to the Senior Manager, Network Analytics.
Work Location:
At Oscar, we believe in a blended work culture where everyone feels connected, regardless of location or work type. This role can be remote or based in one of our offices in New York City, Tempe, or Los Angeles. If located near one of our offices, in-person work is expected at least two days per week. This role is open to residents of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C.
Pay Transparency:
In California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington, the base pay for this role is $80,800 – $106,050 per year. In all other locations, the base pay is $72,720 – $95,445 per year. Eligible for employee benefits, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
– Utilize data analysis to support business decision-making
– Present data in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical colleagues
– Create and maintain operational and analytical dashboards
– Develop models and tools to identify inefficiencies and generate insights
– Collaborate with teams across the organization to implement improvements and monitor impact
– Support other strategic projects as assigned
– Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
– Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
– 1+ years of technical work experience in analytics and report writing
– Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and extract relevant insights
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Experience with SQL, R or Python, and data visualization tools such as Looker
– Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
– 1+ years of experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance industry
Bonus Qualifications:
– Experience in healthcare analytics and reporting
– Experience managing value-based contracts
– Experience with business intelligence/data visualization tools
– Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, and/or population health
