Salesforce Developer at Toast – Building the Future of Restaurants
Toast is a leader in the restaurant industry, providing innovative solutions to help restaurants adapt and thrive in today’s fast-paced world. We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our BTT (Business Technology and Transformation) team and collaborate with other developers, administrators, QA and release managers, and engineering managers to deliver cutting-edge solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities:
– Utilize technical expertise to work on Salesforce-related development tasks, including VF pages, Aura and Lightning Web components, APEX, web services, and more
– Follow design, architecture, and development best practices
– Actively participate in deployment processes, including identifying affected components, merging code, resolving merge conflicts, and developing tests to validate code
– Assist in developing project estimates and plans
– Deliver work on time and escalate blockers in a timely manner
– Proficiently troubleshoot issues using tools such as Developer Console, Workbench, and Salesforce Debug Logs
– Stay up-to-date on Salesforce technologies, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
– 4-5 years of experience in Salesforce development (Lightning, VF, Apex) in an enterprise environment
– Experience with Salesforce platform tools such as Process Builders and Flows
– Understanding of the Software Development Life cycle and Agile methodologies
– Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud (Experience Cloud a plus)
– Experience with Salesforce CPQ configuration and implementation
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
– Salesforce Platform Developer and/or App Builder certifications
Bonus Skills:
– Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
– Salesforce CPQ Certification
– Experience with ServiceNow or similar tool
– Experience with Jira or similar
– Experience with version control tools (GitHub)
– Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools (Copado)

The base salary range for this role is $86,000 – $138,000 USD, with starting salary determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
