Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to join our team in the food manufacturing industry. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Business Relationship Manager, Scrum Master, and Product Owner to define and deliver project scope and ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and create, refine, and maintain user stories and other deliverables such as process flows and test cases.
• Guide and facilitate discussions on story sizing, sprint planning, and technical details.
• Prioritize user stories in the product backlog and work with the Product Owner and Quality Assurance Analysts to define acceptance criteria for testing.
• Validate that the delivered solution meets the stated requirements and collaborate with business stakeholders to test user stories.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior resources.
• Help the team understand Agile development methodologies and their role in the development process.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on information technology projects.
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst for data projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Proficient in requirement-gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating consensus decisions.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings at all levels of an organization.
Additional Information:
• Experience with Business Analytics & Insights Technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Microsoft PowerBI, is a plus.
• Experience working in a global, multi-time zone environment is preferred.
