Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various web applications. Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
– Proficiency in using libraries such as Resque and RSpec
– Strong understanding of clean coding practices in Ruby
– Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial
– Experience with Angular or React.js
– Knowledge of MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM
– Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
– Knowledge of server-side templating languages such as Slim and Liquid
– Familiarity with testing tools
– Nice-to-have: experience with TypeScript
– Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours)
Responsibilities:
– Design and develop new web applications
– Maintain and troubleshoot existing web applications
– Write and maintain reliable Ruby code
– Integrate data storage solutions
– Create backend components
– Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
– Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team
– Connect applications with additional web servers
– Maintain APIs
