Job Description:
Pinterest is seeking a Sr. Staff Product Designer with a passion for and deep subject matter expertise in creating accessible experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with our Design and Design Systems teams, as well as other cross-functional partners, to develop and execute a vision for accessibility at Pinterest. We are looking for someone with strong visual design skills, a systems mindset, and a deep understanding of our mission. Join us and play a key role in creating an inspiring product that empowers people to bring their ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
– Define the strategic direction and product vision for Accessibility Design at Pinterest
– Lead accessibility design initiatives and communicate progress and efforts across the Design team and throughout Pinterest
– Mentor and support the growth of team members while scaling the Accessibility team
– Represent Pinterest Design within the design community by attending and speaking at conferences
Qualifications:
– Subject matter expert with proven experience in product design for accessibility
– Respected visual designer and systems thinker with a strong product strategy
– Skilled mentor with the ability to motivate and grow team members
– Excellent communicator who can represent their work and influence alignment across marketing and product teams
– Passionate about Pinterest’s mission of bringing inspiration to everyone and helping them create a life they love
– 8+ years of experience successfully shipping well-designed products
– Bachelor’s degree in design, a related field, or equivalent experience

In-Office Requirement Statement:
We believe in letting the type of work guide our collaboration style. While we are not always working in an office, we do come together for important moments of collaboration and connection. This role will require in-person collaboration in the office 1-2 times per quarter, allowing for flexibility in location within the country.
