Role Overview:
As the Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our cloud-native platform. This includes validating architecture, conducting technical discovery, and overseeing a high-performing team of engineers. Your focus will be on ensuring strong integration patterns, optimizing performance, and maintaining technical excellence within our GCP-based infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities:
• Validate architecture designs to ensure they meet real-world gateway requirements.
• Drive technical discovery initiatives and map out integration across multiple protocols.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
• Design and validate performance baselines for different types of messages.
• Oversee configuration analysis and develop integration patterns.
• Establish technical standards and best practices for the platform.
About You:
We are seeking passionate technologists who thrive in collaborative agile teams. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively engage with your team. We value both the big picture and attention to detail, so we are looking for individuals who excel in both areas.
• Extensive experience with GCP services, particularly GKE, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
• Strong background in Java development with additional expertise in Python/Go/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of NATS and message queue patterns.
• Proven experience in technical leadership within the financial services industry.
• Expert knowledge of infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
• Successful track record in architecture validation and technical discovery projects.
