Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Partnerize, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our platform, which processes large amounts of performance marketing data and provides valuable insights to our clients in real-time. You will work with a range of technologies, including Python, PHP, JavaScript, and Kafka, and collaborate closely with our lead architect to ensure our systems are scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects that drive the growth of our business.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python, within a commercial setting
– Expertise in Python programming, including knowledge of libraries and frameworks, and experience building distributed systems with high concurrency
– Experience working with large data sets and implementing fault-tolerant, distributed, and scalable systems
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and document technical information
Preferred Qualifications:
– Familiarity with technologies such as Kafka, MySQL, and Postgres
– Experience working with financial data
– Reverse engineering and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and reimplement existing systems written in PHP
– Understanding of operational principles, particularly with Linux-based systems
