The Role
At Addepar, our Design team is responsible for shaping the digital experiences of wealth managers. By designing and delivering intuitive and user-friendly products, we help wealth managers grow their businesses and provide top-notch services to their clients. We have an agile and high-growth mindset, and we foster a client-centered work environment that values constructive feedback and collaboration.
We are currently seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will work on building intuitive, high-performing, and best-in-class user experiences for our data management products and operations tooling. The ideal candidate is passionate about systematic design, scalable information architecture, streamlined workflows, and practical problem-solving. You will have a deep understanding of the needs of both clients and internal users, and use this knowledge to inform your designs. You thrive in diving into details and untangling complex edge cases, while also connecting the dots and envisioning the bigger picture. Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, addressing short-term design needs, and delivering incremental value to users while making progress towards the long-term vision are all strengths that you possess.
Responsibilities
– Lead all design aspects of a project from start to finish, collaborating within cross-functional agile teams to deliver an elegant, delightful, and cohesive product experience for our users.
– Elevate Addepar’s product experience through exceptional displays of interaction design and data visualization.
– Use user research and data to inform design concepts and influence product prioritization, strategies, and roadmaps.
– Contribute to the expansion, evolution, and adoption of the Addepar Product Language design system.
– Seek out and embrace feedback from peers and collaborators, and provide thoughtful feedback to empower and mentor other designers on the team.
– Act as an owner of your work, taking ownership of outcomes and delivering lasting value.
– Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to unlock the best solutions for our clients.
– Exceed client expectations and prioritize their success as our own.

Qualifications
– Extensive experience in Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design.
– A portfolio that demonstrates a strong user-centered design approach and a high level of design craftsmanship.
– Experience designing web products and UI for enterprise users.
– Passion for distilling complex use cases and requirements into sophisticated, scalable, and optimized design solutions.
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
– A self-starter and team player who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
– Detail-oriented with a keen eye for consistency.
– Proficiency in Figma, our primary design tool.
– Experience in the finance industry is not required but considered a significant plus.
