Job Description:
As an AI Software Developer, you will work remotely with our international clients in the canine genetic testing industry. This role requires hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of modern software development practices.

Requirements:
– Ability to work as a remote contractor, preferably in Canada, Colombia, Brazil, or Argentina.
– For US applicants, ability to work as an independent contractor under an LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp.
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
– Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and proven ability to build and deploy applications using foundation models.
– Strong development skills, preferably in languages such as Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Time zone overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Nice-to-Have:
– Familiarity with AWS services beyond Bedrock (e.g., Lambda, S3, SageMaker).
– Experience in prompt engineering or fine-tuning foundation models.
– Experience in software consulting or client-facing development roles.
Responsibilities:
– Design and implement software solutions using Amazon Bedrock.
– Build and fine-tune generative AI workflows and integrate them into existing systems.
– Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define project scope and deliverables.
– Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
