Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DoD/Navy Acquisition Systems & Data Analyst to join our team and support a Navy client in their transition to the Navy’s Electronic Procurement System (ePS). In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of ePS deployment readiness and cutover activities, including change management, communications, testing, training, user management, and data analytics. The ideal candidate is organized, able to quickly adapt to the client’s current operating environment, and has a passion for using data to guide decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
● Quickly familiarize yourself with the Navy’s ePS solution and provide support for various systems implementation, change management, and transition readiness efforts.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver insights that support the contract’s objectives.
● Identify, aggregate, and manage data from various acquisition systems sources and ensure accuracy for analysis.
● Utilize data analysis tools to develop reports, metrics, and dashboards that provide actionable insights and recommendations.
● Use statistical techniques to interpret and validate data, patterns, and anomalies.
● Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
● Draft data-driven insights to be incorporated into program briefs, point papers, and ad-hoc metrics.
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of experience in the DoD or DoN Acquisition (Procure to Pay) operating environment.
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science).
● Knowledge of Department of Navy (DoN) acquisition and contract writing processes, regulations, and business systems.
● Experience with systems implementation and data analytics.
● Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
● Proficiency in data analytics methodologies, tools, and software applications.
● Skilled in data aggregation, cleansing, transformation, and deriving insights.
● Ability/desire to learn and utilize new acquisition systems and data analytics tools.
● Effective communication and presentation skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
● Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.
