Position Title: Senior UX Designer at Hive

Job Description:
As a Senior UX Designer at Hive, you will play a crucial role in understanding our customers’ needs, contributing to strategy building, and designing user-friendly solutions to solve real problems. Under the leadership of our Vice President of Product, you will be at the forefront of driving our product development and shaping the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for our customers by spending time with them to understand their needs, conducting research and testing to improve the user experience
• Lead our design practice by developing and implementing design processes that drive product innovation
• Design high-quality products, including wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and mockups
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to lead the Product Pod, our most impactful team
• Own the design backlog and roadmap, prioritizing and planning for design improvements and new features
• Contribute to our dynamic startup culture and be a valuable team member
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a UX designer on an agile product development team
• Strong UX skillset, with the ability to conduct research, develop concepts, and design and test solutions
• Portfolio showcasing your problem-solving skills
• Ownership and growth mindset, with the ability to identify new opportunities and make strategic decisions
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Linear, GitHub, and Storybook
Nice to Have:
• Experience in front-end development, copywriting, or research
• Familiarity with marketing technology or event marketing
• Excellent communication skills and customer empathy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
