About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Analyst who is experienced, data-driven, and passionate about driving strategic business decisions. As a senior individual contributor, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our home repair and online marketplace platform. This role requires a strong understanding of advanced analytics and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze consumer behavior, market trends, service provider performance, and platform efficiency. Your insights and recommendations will be key in enhancing the user experience, increasing platform engagement, and improving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, marketplace dynamics, and service provider performance to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
– Develop predictive models to improve marketplace matching, pricing optimization, and user retention strategies.
– Collaborate with product managers, marketing, and operations teams to provide data-backed insights for feature enhancements, platform updates, and A/B testing initiatives.
– Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, contributing to overall business strategy and platform growth.
– Create real-time dashboards and reports to monitor key marketplace metrics.
– Ensure data integrity by collaborating with data engineering teams to maintain accurate and scalable data solutions.
– Stay updated on trends in the home services industry, online marketplace developments, and emerging data tools to keep our platform competitive.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
– 5+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field.
– Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools such as Python or R.
– Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
– Proven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance marketplace performance.
– Ability to manage ambiguity and drive actionable results.
– Strong communication skills to present complex data to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
– Experience collaborating with stakeholders and aiding in strategic and data-driven decision-making.
– Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary band for this position ranges from $85,000 – $150,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living. This position will be eligible for a competitive year-end performance bonus and equity package.
