Position: Senior UI Engineer

Seedify MetaStudios is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generalist Game Engineer to join our team. As a Senior UI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of Seedworld, one of the most innovative user-generated content (UGC) platforms in the gaming industry. We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of game systems implementation using Unreal Engine, as well as experience in collaborating with other engineers to create scalable game projects.
Responsibilities:
– Work closely with art, design, and development teams to ensure that all visual and functional requirements are met
– Implement various game systems for prototyping and beyond
– Optimize and improve existing systems, including gameplay, AI, and data management
– Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
– Participate in code reviews
– Create and maintain technical documentation
– Keep up-to-date knowledge of Unreal Engine and its improvements
– Debug and profile code for optimal performance
Experience:
– Extensive experience using Unreal Engine 5
– Proven track record of delivering timely prototypes
– Experience working in cross-discipline teams
– Strong understanding of scalable solutions
– Previous experience with UI in AAA projects, particularly in the MMO or UGC space
– Working knowledge of C++
Nice to have/Preferred/Bonus skills:
– Experience with building an MMO, Metaverse, or AAA project using Unreal Engine 5
– Familiarity with blockchain projects
– Experience with optimizing, profiling, and debugging in Unreal Engine 5
– Proficiency in developing engine editor tools
Team Structure:
As a Senior UI Engineer, you will be an essential member of the Seedworld UE game engineering team. You will collaborate closely with other UE engineers and work alongside the design and art teams to implement various core aspects of game development. You may also assist in the implementation of these aspects with other engineers.
