Position: Principal Consultant – Full Stack Drupal Developer

Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000 USD
The U.S. Forest Service (FS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Drupal Developer to join our team. As part of the Agency’s web services support, this position will be responsible for architecting, designing, and developing Drupal 9.x CMS websites. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Drupal modules, as well as experience in both front and back-end development. This is a remote position with a competitive salary range.
Responsibilities:
– Develop, design, and maintain Drupal 9.x CMS websites
– Create and implement information architecture, features, functionality, and user interface design for Drupal 9.x CMS
– Migrate content from current CIO Drupal 7.x website to new Drupal 9.x CMS
– Deploy Agency websites in a centralized, large-scale environment
– Coordinate content migration from legacy websites and external partner domains
– Use Agency-approved GitHub repository for source code management
– Collaborate with team members to architect enterprise Drupal solutions
– Utilize PHP, HTML, XHTML, CSS, CSS3, and JavaScript to build responsive websites
– Convert layout and wireframes into functional HTML pages
– Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and have exposure to Agile methodologies
Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Drupal Development
– Bachelor of Science in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
– Experience in developing web solutions in a LAMP environment
– Advanced site building skills using Drupal modules such as Views and Panels
– Thorough knowledge of PHP, PHP files, and the Drupal theme layer
– Familiarity with responsive website design and frameworks like JQuery
