As the Vice President of Product Design and Growth at FiscalNote, you will be responsible for driving the design strategy and vision for all of our products. You will lead a team of talented product designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that our solutions are innovative, user-centric, and at the forefront of the market.

The Role
As our Vice President of Product Design and Growth, you will play a crucial role in managing the design team and guiding design principles to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with product management and engineering teams to identify and capitalize on product growth opportunities. Your expertise in product design and growth will help us continue to provide world-class solutions to our customers.
What You’ll Do
– Lead and mentor the Product Design team, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design initiatives with product roadmaps and business objectives
– Develop and implement design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across all products
– Conduct user research and gather customer feedback to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction
– Manage design resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery of design projects
– Advocate for design thinking and user-centered design principles throughout the organization
– Identify emerging design trends and technologies to enhance our product suite and user experience
– Provide input and guidance for the future of FiscalNote’s products and services, including idea generation and evaluation
– Spearhead initiatives, such as product-led growth strategy, to drive maximum value for our customers
About You
– 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Director, VP, or similar)
– Proven track record of designing and delivering successful digital products in B2B or SaaS environments
– Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design, and design strategy
– Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
– Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
– Familiarity with Agile methodologies (preferred)
– Background in working with AI-powered or data-driven products (preferred)
