Senior Automation Engineer at Own – Washington D.C. Metro Area (Remote work opportunities available)
Own, the leading data platform trusted by thousands of organizations, is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to join our Platform Foundations team. With a focus on protecting and activating SaaS data to drive business transformation, Own partners with top SaaS ecosystems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Dynamics.
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to test features across our unified API. Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, secure, and user-friendly solutions
– Lead the implementation of robust test automation frameworks and best practices
– Design and create automated tests for business and technical use cases
– Reduce manual test processes through automation
– Ensure high-quality and flawless end-user experience through cross-functional collaboration
– Prepare relevant documentation and guides
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
– 7+ years of experience as an Automation Quality Engineer or Software Developer
– Strong knowledge of software engineering practices and full software development life cycle
– Proficiency in Python programming and experience in web and API application test automation
– Familiarity with Linux and AWS/Azure environments
– Hands-on experience with Docker technologies
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work independently and take initiative
– Creative problem-solving skills
Other Requirements:
– U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of federal work involved
– The ability to provide proof of U.S. citizenship is necessary prior to employment
– Candidates may be required to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
Important Details:
– This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $119,200 to $149,000
– The actual salary offered will depend on factors such as education, experience, and location
