We are currently seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team. Our engineering team focuses on three product areas: fintech, travel, and a superapp that brings them all together. With 80 engineers and a strong emphasis on career growth, our team handles thousands of requests per second and millions of dollars in sales per day while maintaining high uptime. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment that prioritizes work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
– Tackle challenging technical problems in both frontend and backend web development
– Collaborate with product teams to build features for fintech, travel, and/or superapp products
– Develop and maintain engines and frameworks to support our products
– Work with technologies including React, Python, Node, Gitlab, AWS, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake
– Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
– Mentor junior developers
– Participate in cross-functional team projects and contribute to the product roadmap
– Use data to drive decisions and conduct experiments for new launches
Requirements:
– 4+ years of professional experience in software development
– 2+ years of experience with Python or Node on the backend
– 2+ years of experience with a modern frontend JS framework (React, Vue, Angular)
– Strong understanding of web services and modern web technologies
– Experience with system design challenges
– Ability to communicate effectively and work in an agile team
– High level of motivation, ownership, and ability to drive complex projects
– Experience mentoring junior developers
– Bonus points for working experience with React, Python, Node, Gitlab, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Redis, Datadog, Amplitude, and Snowflake, SQL/analytics knowledge, devops experience, startup experience, working with business stakeholders, or writing end-to-end/browser-based tests
