Job Description:
Array is seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing and shaping the user experience for our suite of financial products. You will work closely with leadership to define product strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that meet the needs of our internal and external customers. Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will be a foundational member of our team and play a key role in driving product success.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and shipping complex web and mobile products, with a focus on data and customer insights
– Strong design instincts and knowledge of best practices to translate user problems, goals, business objectives, and technical constraints into exceptional product experiences
– Ability to lead and collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm solutions, gather input, and create mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes
– Comfortable asking tough questions and clearly defining business problems
– Visionary mindset with a track record of success in a financial technology or growth startup environment
– Ability to simplify complex ideas and adapt to changing business needs
Responsibilities:
– Create wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas
– Collaborate with the product team to propose new solutions to complex user-centered design problems
– Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize high-impact areas for product improvement, develop hypotheses, and test and iterate solutions
– Incorporate both quantitative and qualitative data into product decisions
– Partner with product managers to brainstorm, build, and validate solutions to user problems and goals
– Collaborate with engineers to understand technical constraints, hand off designs, and conduct design quality assurance
– Participate in weekly sprint planning and daily standups to ensure a seamless product development process
Compensation and Benefits:
– $100,000+ base salary, based on experience
