Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our growing team of 800+ employees worldwide. Regardless of the position, you will play a crucial role in helping our providers grow their businesses and build loyal client relationships in their communities. Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior iOS Engineer at Booksy, you will be responsible for realizing our product vision through code. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow team members to understand requirements, propose solutions, and develop scalable, high-quality software products. Your contributions will be essential in implementing new features, ensuring product stability, and continuously improving our product based on user feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and implement complex projects from start to finish.
– Maintain high-quality code across the team through code reviews and setting coding standards.
– Participate in project planning to identify dependencies, establish timelines, and provide accurate estimations.
– Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and suggest technological advancements.
– Contribute to the design and architecture of complex systems or products to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
– Participate in technical assessments of potential candidates.
– Ensure full test coverage and experience with automated testing frameworks.
– Architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
– Provide leadership in guiding design decisions and discussions.
– Stay updated with new technologies and continuously seek improvements.
– Mentor and guide other developers, setting high standards of work.
– Communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
– Take responsibility for both individual and team deliverables.
– Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
– Foster a positive team culture through open communication and feedback.
Technical Requirements:
– Expertise in specific technologies or product domains.
– Proven ability to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex systems.
– Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
– Knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
– Experience with CI processes.
– Familiarity with Swift Package Manager and modularity.
