Position: Senior Endpoint/C++ Engineer at SenseOn

Role and Team:
We are seeking an experienced C++ developer with native Windows development expertise to join our Universal Sensor endpoint team. The Universal Sensor is a cross-platform security agent that runs on customer devices, combining host and network security monitoring. It performs on-device threat detection, as well as streaming security telemetry to backend threat detection platforms. The role involves developing features to enhance threat detection accuracy, while minimizing CPU and memory usage on customer devices.
Responsibilities:
– Develop features for the Universal Sensor to improve threat detection and connect to new data sources
– Ensure minimal impact on CPU and memory usage on customer devices
– Write comprehensive automated tests for code using continuous integration pipelines
Requirements:
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Extensive experience with C++11 and later (SenseOn uses C++17)
– Native Windows development experience
– Experience with automated testing principles and frameworks
– Right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills:
– Python 3 experience
– Experience developing for Windows and/or OS X
– Background in cyber security
