Responsibilities:
As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive data strategy that consolidates data from multiple systems to support marketing initiatives and drive business growth. This role will focus on scaling the data team and enhancing capabilities to handle increasing complexity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Tasks:
– Develop and execute a unified data strategy that supports business growth and aligns with marketing and company goals
– Lead the expansion of the data team, including recruitment, mentoring, and professional development
– Partner with marketing stakeholders to provide data-driven insights for campaign success and customer engagement
– Collaborate with departments across the company to align data insights with their objectives and address business challenges
– Oversee the development and enhancement of data tools and infrastructure to ensure seamless data integration and maintain high standards of privacy, security, and quality
– Advance analytics and reporting capabilities to provide in-depth insights across marketing and other areas
– Foster a data-driven culture to encourage data-based decision-making throughout the company
Requirements:
– 7-10+ years of experience in data management, strategy, or analytics, with 3-5 years in a leadership role
– Fluent in spoken and written business English (C1), German is a plus
– Proven track record of developing data strategies that drive meaningful business impact
– Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management experience
– Familiarity with marketing-related data and insights is preferred
– Proficient in data pipeline and data warehouse management, analytics platforms, and programming languages such as SQL and Python
