Position: Senior Product Analyst at Kafene
Kafene, a leading point-of-sale financing partner, is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join our growing team. We specialize in providing flexible ownership solutions for underserved customers nationwide, empowering our retail partners to offer lease-to-own options for prime and nonprime consumers. Department Overview:
The Data Science & Analytics Team at Kafene is the driving force behind our data-driven culture. We work closely with various departments, including Risk, Finance, Technology, Sales, and Product, to design data products and utilize cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies to enhance the experience for both our merchants and customers. Our team also fosters a culture of learning and growth, providing opportunities for each member to expand their skills and contribute to our collective success.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design data products and ML-based tools to analyze portfolio profitability and growth.
– Manage the experimentation program and analyze A/B test results.
– Optimize sales efficiency through acquisition and retention analytics.
– Create and develop key business insight reporting suites.
– Develop a best-in-class pricing program to maximize competitiveness and profitability.
– Act as the main point of contact for the Product and Finance teams as their core analytics partner.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with relevant industry experience being a plus.
– Strong quantitative analysis skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a keen business sense.
– Proficiency in working with complex relational databases, such as Snowflake.
– Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
– Analytical mindset with the ability to perform root cause analysis and recognize patterns.
– Familiarity with Google Analytics, Python, Tableau/Looker/Sigma, and JIRA project management.
– Highly motivated and ambitious.
– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Math, Finance, or Engineering, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
– Competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $170,000.
